Significantly coarse data volume in the domestic internet to new year’s eve

The corona restrictions have led to new year’s eve at a significantly coarse data volume in the domestic internet. How vodafone announced on request, rushed to the year between 8pm and 3 o’clock in the morning 16.000 terabyte data through its lines into the hauser – and thus almost 50 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.

The number of mobile phone calls remained at vodafone in the first hour of the new year with nine million calls as in the previous year. The number of video calls that have led to rising landline data volume, on the other hand, has risen to the reading of vodafone.

Less calls, but long

Vodafone is guided with telefonica (O2) and deutsche telekom to the three german mobile network operators. Telefonica shares that the increase in data usage in the mobile network due to the corona restrictions was also moderately failed than in previous years.
